It's A Kawaii World After All

Of course we know that Japan is the epitome of Kawaii, even down to the kawaii mascots of their towns, police forces, and military. Prince Pickles represents Japan's Self Defense Forces (Military). He is a cute little kawaii style character in army gear. I often feel, living in the U.S. that my love for kawaii is immature, but in Japan there are thousands of kawaii mascots. They are the faces of things that are far from childish. The representation of local and national government, culture and just about every other facet of Japanese life has it's touch of Kawaii.
